Raise your hand if you’ve been struggling to motivate yourself to workout since summer has gone away. Well, you are not alone. With four months of cold weather to come (yes I know), it’s time to seriously arm ourselves against the winter blues. But what if I told you that a small change in your workout wardrobe could help you to boost your motivation?
Yes. I’m talking about workout clothes. As silly as it may sound, various studies have shown how dressing the part while exercising could enhance your performance. So if you haven’t renewed your gym gear for months (or even years!), now may be a good time to do it.
This season patterned leggings are the trend, so I thought I’d share some stylish items to help you to get you in the mood to exercise (again):
Sweaty Betty Drift Ski Base Layer Leggings
This cool geometric print is crafted in quick drying fabric, which makes the perfect outfit for winter training. So if outdoor training is your thing, you may want to splash £65 on these colour block style leggings.
Tully Lou Brooklyn Pants
If you are not ready for a big change in your wardrobe yet, this black legging and its colour touch may a be good compromise for you. It is made from polyester and spandex which helps keep you dry even during HIIT sessions.
Rosegal Skinny Gym Leggings
Your legs will definitely stand out when you are training in these patterned leggings. Its lightweight polyester fabrics makes your workout inexpensively comfortable. I would totally add it to my wishlist!
Shein Color Block Mesh Legging
I’m a huge fan of this sexy legging, made with rayon and spandex for a very comfortable fit. These are perfect for a pilates or yoga session and they only cost £10.88!
Khaki bamboo tights
If you are still lamenting summer, this legging may be a good way to cheer you up while keeping you moving at the gym. Its super-stretchy fabric is perfect for a whole range of activities, from running to high intensity workouts.
Rebekka Full Length Moto Tights
I love this biker style leggings! They are not only a solid statement piece but are also made with a high compression fabric to enhance your performance. And all of this just for £30! Not bad, right?
So which one is your favourite? I’d love to know your thoughts!

Thank you J-Free 🙂
I have been super motivated BUT I need to make sure I stay that way. I am a Capri girl. Mostly because I am short and feel more comfortable without the long pant.
Yeah keep up the good work Elise!
oo these leggings look incredible, this may be the only way to get me back to working out!
Yes go for it 🙂
I love your selection! It makes me want to get back on track for the New Year!
