With its spices and various flavours, this chicken recipe will keep you full while providing some of they key nutrients your body needs. Serve alone or with brown rice if you are really hungry. Bon appétit!
Prep and Cook Time: 15 minutes
(Serves 2 people)
Instructions:
- Cut onion and mince garlic and let both sit for at least 5 minutes.
- In a steel skillet cook onions and chicken for about 2 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
- Add ginger, garlic, spring onions, red chili and continue to stir for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add asparagus, soy sauce, and pepper. Stir together and cover. Cook for another 4-5 minutes. This may have to cook for an extra couple minutes if the asparagus is thick.
This looks yummy. I have to admit I sometimes cheat and buy the pre-cut frozen veggies to make stir-fry easier.
