Banana oats breakfast balls with coconut and chia seeds

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of whole great oats
  • 1 tbsp of Madagascan vanilla extract ( optional)
  • 1/2 cup of coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds

We all love delicious breakfast recipes but let’s be honest: the idea of waking up to make them is not so exciting. The good news is that you don’t need to reduce your duvet times to start off the day right and boost your metabolism up.

All you need to do is plan a bit of time ahead.  These banana oats balls are delicious and only take 15-20 mins to prepare. I tend to bake them the night before so I can start the day stress free.

With their omega 3 fatty acids and fibre, they make the perfect portable  breakfast and provide a great energy boost.

I also find that they work great as a snack and still hold pretty well after a day or two.

Once you start making them you will never buy them again! .

So here’s how to make these hearty banana oats balls:

Prep and cook time: 15 minutes

-Preheat the oven to over 180 degrees.

-Mash the bananas in a bowl until mushy.

-Stir until everything is nicely mixed.

-Scoop the mixture and roll into  1-inch ball and place on baking sheet.
